11. Why are there two versions of Plum SaaS?
The Network Manager company always makes extra effort to provide options for different scenarios that ISPs need. Plum TV and Your Plum are two options for two scenarios.
12. What is the Plum TV?
Plum TV is a platform where middleware (Plum MW) is in a cloud and ISPs share the same resource (multitenant). Plum TV is already running which means that Plum TV applications are already in stores and other providers already use the platform to provide IPTV and OTT service to their subscribers.
13. In that case, can I use streams located on my local servers?
Absolutely! Plum Middleware is only responsible for communication between the subscribers and the database in the cloud that was created so that streams from local servers are delivered directly to subscribers so there are no extra costs due to the consumption of internet resources.
14. If the apps are already in the stores under the Plum name, does that mean we can't use our brand if we opt for the Plum TV version?
There are 2 options for branding if you use Plum TV version:
- Create your branded design using an admin panel making it visible to subscribers. That means that your subscribers use Plum TV apps but after login, they will see only your brand (Logo, color scheme, advertising banners, contact information, TV packages, and channels,…). This option is free.
- We will develop apps with your design that you can upload to the appropriate stores under your name. This option is charged at 500 euros per app per year.
15. What is the Your Plum?
Your Plum is a platform intended for ISPs who want to have the platform on their local servers and their own branded applications.
16. Does your platform include other elements of IPTV and OTT systems (etc. transcoders, streamers,...)?
Yes, our platform has:
- Plum CDN – software solution for Content Delivery Networks
- Plum TS – software solution for transcoding
- Plum Kontrol – software for managing, monitoring, and analyzing video streams from transcoder input to user device
- Plum Box – Android-based STBs
17. If we already have these elements (etc. transcoders, streamers, STBs...) or want to use solutions from other vendors do you support the integration of third-party elements?
Yes, our platform supports integration with a wide range of third-party services, including:
- Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
- Transcoders
- Android-based STBs
- Monitoring and analyzing systems
- DRM
However, some limitations are a product of various factors such as the age of the device, the support that the vendor can provide, and the overall cost-effectiveness assessment.
18. Is it necessary to use DRM?
Our system supports integration with 3rd party DRM vendors but using DRM or not depends on ISP needs. For ISPs that choose not to use DRM, we have enabled a stream protection system based on Token authentication.

1. What is your business model?
Our business model for Plum SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) is designed to provide flexible and scalable IPTV and OTT platforms for ISPs of all sizes and needs. We offer two business models:
- Subscription-based model where you pay per subscriber per month making it ideal for ISPs looking for a low upfront cost and predictable expenses
- One-time payment for the Setupboxes (STBs) with subscriber license model which is tailored to ISPs who want to invest in STBs and have no plans to provide service on smart TVs and smartphones
2. How does the subscription-based model pricing model work?
This model is based on a per-subscriber, per-month fee, the starting price to ISPs is €1 per subscriber per month for the first 2.000 subscribers. One subscriber can have a maximum of 4 simultaneous accesses from 4 different devices, of which a maximum of two can be STBs or TVs. The price to ISPs decreases by €0,04 for every additional 2.000 subscribers (e.g., 2.001–4.000 subscribers, ISPs pay €0,96 per subscriber per month). The price includes access to the platform, regular updates, and basic support.
3. How does the one-time payment for the Setupboxes (STBs) with the subscriber license pricing model work?
This model involves purchasing appropriate STBs that come with applications with a registered account for using the Plum SaaS platform. The account is linked to the MAC address of the STB device and cannot be used on any other device nor can the account be transferred. The device comes with a one-year warranty.
4. Can we combine these two business models?
Yes
5. What is included in Plum SaaS models?
No matter which payment model you choose, you will be able to:
- Full access to the platform
- All features and functionalities
- Regular updates that include new features, security patches, bug fixes and performance improvements
- 24×7 Full technical support by e-mail, phone, and chat
- Ability to scale up or down based on your subscriber base
6. Are there any setup or migration costs?
Yes, but costs may vary based on the complexity of your requirements. In a regular situation, the setup cost is between 3.000 and 5.000 euros. We provide a detailed cost breakdown during the consultation phase.
7. If we opt for our branded applications, how much will we pay for them?
Regardless of whether it is Plum TV or Your Plum versions, if the ISP wants its own branded applications, it needs to pay us 500 euros per application per year for that service.
8. If we use the Plum TV application that we branded through the admin panel, do we pay anything for that service?
No. This service is free.
9. None of the offered models fully suit us. Is there a possibility of a different agreement?
We are open to dialogue and will be happy to discuss with ISPs and try to find a model that suits both parties.
10. What if we decide to cancel the service?
For the SaaS model, you can cancel the service at any time. However, the cancellation conditions are defined in the contract and both parties must respect it.
11. Can we get a detailed cost estimate?
Yes, we provide a detailed cost estimate during the consultation phase. You just need to contact our sales department at:
